I grew up within a musical household, where someone was always singing, playing guitar or blasting music videos, cassettes, records and CDs. This extended to our family parties, where I was exposed to the musical influences of cousins and friends. I decided one day in university that I would save enough money to buy some equipment and learn to become a DJ. I always thought DJ's brought so much joy to people and I wanted to be that person who brought joy to others. A friend had given me a DJ for dummies book, to start me off. After working a minimum wage job throughout university for almost 3 years, I was finally able to start hitting the road as a mobile event DJ.
